There are Married Woman Fan Club (2020)a hell of a lot of Stephen King movie adaptations out there — but there are far less that have the horror master's personal seal of approval.
King has taken to Twitter to praise some — like the ITadaptation — in the past, but when it comes to others he can be noticeably silent. And in the case of a few, like Under the Dome, he's made his disappointment pretty clear.
So what does he think about the next big King adaptation, Doctor Sleep, due November?
Well, judging by the tweet he posted on Monday, it's getting both thumbs up.

Doctor Sleepis based on the King novel by the same name, published in 2013. The book is a sequel to The Shining, the movie adaptation of which King notoriously hated.

"And that was a conversation that we had to have with Stephen King, to kick the whole thing off, and if that conversation hadn’t gone the way it went, we wouldn’t have done the film."
Apparently King liked the ideas Flanagan had for the movie — and from the looks of he's latest tweet, he's just as happy with the finished product.
Doctor Sleep is in theatres Nov. 8. You can watch the trailer above or here.
