Major Chinese outsourced manufacturers, and brands including Redmi, iQOO, Xiaomi, Oppo, and Xingji Meizu, are planning on adopting the Gen 4 chipset, according to Qualcomm, with the first devices to hit the market due in the coming months. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is built on TSMC’s 4nm process and features a “1+7” core architecture.
