PETA has labelled the ad replacement as a "vegan Tube station takeover" intended to encourage commuters to go vegan in 2017. "Cows, chickens, and pigs are no different from human beings when it comes to feeling pain and fear and valuing their lives," readsa statement released by PETA.

Commuters seem to have responded positively to the posters.
